In 2021, CIRTEF resumed training and production with the ” It looks like the South ” project co-financed by UNESCO and OIF as well as by the 10 CIRTEF member organizations participating in this venture (ORTB Benin, RTB Burkina Faso, CRTV Cameroon, RTI Ivory Coast, MBC Mauritius, ORTM Madagascar, SNRT Morocco, ORTN Niger, RTS Senegal and RADIO LOME Togo).
Following training on writing and directing documentary productions with light means (including smartphones), the aim was to produce video documentaries on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
